Emergency Plan Diagrams

In an emergency, firefighters use these building diagrams to plan a safe, effective response. Emergency plan diagrams show the location of all major systems, hazards, and egress routes, such as sprinklers and standpipes, ventilation systems, stairwells, pull stations, etc. These drawings are a critical component of every building’s safety plan.

With more than two decades of experience working closely with firefighters and emergency personnel, AK creates concise, technically accurate drawings. Fire departments in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles have called them the best they’ve ever seen.

Floor Plan Diagram Cross Section Diagram

Our emergency plan diagrams can also be used to create an interactive exit route planner. This powerful training tool is available online or on CD-ROM. Employees can click on their floor on a cross section drawing, then click on their location on the floor plan diagram, and the animated diagram draws their route to the primary and secondary exit stairwells and shows them where they will exit the building.
